METAL GUIDE

PLATINUM

Rarer and more precious than gold, platinum is a seriously luxe heavy metal. Platinum is incredibly strong, hypoallergenic and considered a noble metal in chemistry terms due to its resistance to corrosion.

18k WHITE GOLD

Forged from yellow gold fused with the extremely rare and valuable silver-white palladium for richness and durability. White November rhodium-plate our jewellery (adds lustre) but can be omitted on request.

18k YELLOW GOLD

18k Gold is the most pure form of gold used for rings, and other wearable jewellery. This gold has a rich, yellow appearance that most people associate with gold jewellery. Since 18k gold is almost pure, there’s very little risk of jewellery made using this material causing any skin irritation if you have a nickel allergy.

9k YELLOW GOLD

Casting a paler hue than 18ct yellow gold due to a different balance of strengthening alloys such as silver, copper and zinc, 9ct yellow gold maintains a warm yellow glow but is more subtle.

9k ROSE GOLD

A softly-hued and subtly romantic precious metal, rose gold is a warm blend of classic yellow gold with a flash of copper.

9k WHITE GOLD

Forged from yellow gold fused with silver to created a striking creamy white metal with a subtle hint of yellow. White November do not rhodium-plate our jewellery (adds lustre) but can on request.

STERLING SILVER

Sterling silver is an alloy of silver containing 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals for strength and resilience. Originating in continental Europe in the 11th Century, this precious metal is thought to have been named for the Old English word meaning ‘little star’.
