HYDRA is the name of a southern constellation that lies south of Cancer, Sextans, Corvus, and Virgo, and represented on old maps as a serpent. It is also the name of a many-headed serpent in Greek mythology, which had the ability to regenerate itself if attacked in battle. The HYDRA hoop earring aims to inspire the wearer of these same powers of resilience and strength.
