Our founder
White November is my studio, on Collins Street in Melbourne. I trained as a jeweller at RMIT, spent years designing for some of Australia's most loved brands, and then built the studio I wished existed: one designer, one bench, and one person you deal with from the first sketch to the finished piece.
The difference
I design every piece. I am the one who writes back when you email, who sits across the table when you come in, and who tells you the day your ring is ready. There is no sales floor and no account manager in between.
You are working one on one with the person who makes your jewellery, and I would not have it any other way.
The studio opens by appointment, so that when you are here, you have my full attention.
Where it started
I fell in love with jewellery at RMIT. For years afterwards I designed for some of Australia's most loved brands: good work, but fast. Made in volume, led by trends, forgotten by the following season.
I wanted to make the opposite. Jewellery that is personal, that carries something of the person wearing it, and that is worth handing down.
The first collection
The first collection began on a trip to the Pantheon in Rome. Astronomy, architecture and beauty, intertwined. That thread still runs through everything I make, from the crescent moons and star settings to the Art Deco lines of Empire, in the way a piece is composed before a single stone is set.
What the work is for
A proposal. A milestone birthday. A grandmother's ring that has sat in a drawer for sixty years and deserves a second life.
Every piece is designed and handcrafted here, one at a time. It is slower, and it is meant to be.
