Everything we make is made in our Melbourne studio, and you are very welcome to come to it. Seeing a stone in person, on your own hand, in daylight, settles questions that no amount of photography will.
The studio is at Level 7, 220 Collins Street, Melbourne, and it is by appointment only — so please book rather than dropping in, or there may be nobody there to let you up.
What you can come in for
- Talking through a bespoke design. Bring a sketch, a photograph, a stone, or nothing at all. Most commissions start as a conversation rather than a brief.
- A remodelling consultation. Bring the piece. We will tell you honestly what can be done with it and what cannot, before anything is committed to.
- Trying pieces on. Rings photograph very differently to how they wear. If you are deciding between two, this is the fastest way to stop deciding.
- Being sized properly. A minute with a sizing set is worth more than any chart, including ours.
- Collecting a finished piece, or dropping one in for a service, a clean or a resize.
Booking a time
Book an appointment online and pick the type that fits — there are slots for remodelling consultations, phone consultations, and collections or servicing. If nothing suits, call the studio on 0413 444 043 or email info@whitenovember.com.au and we will find a time.
If you are not in Melbourne, a phone or video consultation does more than you would expect. A great many pieces have been designed entirely that way, with photographs and video of stones sent through as the design develops.
Getting here
220 Collins Street sits in the middle of the city, a short walk from Flinders Street and Parliament stations and right on the Collins Street tram line. The contact page has a map and directions.
Because it is a by-appointment studio rather than a shopfront, you will need the appointment to get in. If anything about finding us is unclear, call before you set off.
Seeing the work elsewhere
If you cannot get to the studio, some of our pieces are carried by our stockists — Filly's Stable in Albert Park, and Finematter online.
Bespoke work is only done directly with us, since it needs the conversation.
