The Hadley Ring is built around a 3.53ct radiant cut lab grown yellow diamond, Fancy Intense Yellow, held in split double claws that reach up from the shoulders and hold the stone without covering any of it. The radiant cut is the reason the colour reads the way it does. Its cropped corners and crushed ice facets bounce light back through the stone, so the yellow looks saturated and warm rather than pale.
Three baguettes run down each shoulder, channel set flush into a slim 3.0mm band. They are set in a straight line rather than tapered, which gives the ring an Art Deco squareness and stops the yellow from feeling soft. White against yellow, step cut against radiant, straight lines against a rounded band.
It is a big stone on a deliberately quiet setting. Nothing competes with the centre.
